There’s no better way to enjoy the summer than to visit a farmers’ market!

All throughout Salt Lake City there are many opportunities to join communities in celebrating locally grown foods. Supporting our farmers’ markets is a great way not only to purchase fresh, healthy fare, but also to support local farmers and the important role they play in our community.

We’ve got good news . . . the season has started and many markets begin this week!

Downtown Farmers Market*

Saturdays: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Jun. 9 – Oct. 20) Click Here for more info.

Historic Pioneer Park, 300 S. 300 W.

Started in 1992 by the Downtown Alliance, this market has provided a place for a variety of iconic Utah food businesses and vendors to sell their products. There are also food preservation demonstrations, live music, an arts and crafts market, and a “causes” area where you can interact with local non-profits and campaigns. With 200 food vendors and 100 arts and crafts vendors, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Again this year, plastic bags won’t be found at the Market.

Remember to bring your reusable bags, water bottle, and coffee mug every week!

Tuesday Harvest Market

(August 1 – October 17)

Mark you calendars for the Tuesday Harvest Market which begins later in the summer and offers a less crowded opportunity to purchase fresh produce at the peak of produce season.
